Education Trip 2-17 Apr 2012: Kennel Club of Taiwan Grade C Exam

Miruko (Milk in Japanese) 10 months old, he was quite playful and timid. This was his first time to participated in the exam. It was my duty to let him feel safe and sound. In order to let him had the bond with me, the school arranged him to came over several times to let me bathe and blow dry before the exam date.

Miruko waiting at the exam hall.

Students waiting for the Judges to go around to examine the dogs before the exam commenced. Points would be deducted if the fur is not long enough for the exam.

The clock start clicking ... 2 hours to complete the lamb cut for Grade C students. Can you spot me? : )

Finally was over. I could sleep sounding tonight ... zzzZZZ.

I had passed my Kennel Club of Taiwan Grade C Exam.

NEVER GIVE UP, STRIVE FOR THE BEST!

Education Trip 2-17 Apr 2012: Creation in the School

Lamb cut ... Lamb cut... the more the merrier. Need to practice more for my coming KCT exam (Kennel Club of Taiwan).

Also learnt to refine the Teddy Bear cut.

Education Trip 2-17 Apr 2012: Outing Days

Getting around Taipei was easy, my course mate and I travel around by public transport - MRT and bus.
The school was closed on Wed and Sat. we went shopping, night market, temple, etc...

We visited the famous Guan Yin Si at Zhu Lin Shan. Strictly no beef meal before our praying.

Another off day, we went outing with our instructor and friends by train. The tickets included no limit of boarding and alighting on the way. Hoping up and down the train, eating all the way was our whole day journey.

At Ping Xi, we bought a Tian Deng (Sky Lantern) and wrote down our wishes.

The sky lantern shop was located beside the rail way track. The train approached when we were still writing.

(L-R): Diana, Li Chew (groomer), Xiao Qian (school & pet shop admin), Xiao Mei (instructor), Ah Xin (asst groomer) & Leela (course mate).

Hope all our wishes would come true!

Education Trip 2-17 Apr 2012: Accommodation in Taipei

We rental a guest house 2 bus-stops away from our school. It was about 230 sqft, the location was near the Taipei Arena, it costs S$58 per night. 8 mins walking distance to Nanjing East Road MRT station. Furniture included a queen size bed, TV, air condition, washing machine, water boiler, fridge, hair dryer, heater in the bathroom and internet access. The only inconvenient was on the check in day, we need to go to Taipei Main Station than took a taxi to the guest house. For check out day, we just left the key and shut the door.
